Melanie has been practicing yoga for over 15 years. Yoga always lifted her mood and made her feel better, and she wanted to help others access the same physical and mental wellbeing. Despite being an introvert, she decided to complete her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2015. Teaching yoga allowed Melanie to face her fear of public speaking and gave a true purpose to her voice.
Melanie’s classes marry clear alignment direction with strength building, flexibility, flow, and mindful movement. Creative sequencing coordinated with breath provides students with the perfect setting to help develop a greater sense of awareness, balance and harmony. Her teaching weaves yoga philosophy with dharmic teachings in an accessible, all-levels way, so everyone can learn from yogic traditions.
